All Wood Doors by Lag Design®
LAG DESIGN® Doors are of stile and rail construction with raised panels. All doors are custom manufactured and furnished unfitted, and without hardware.
All doors are available to your custom design (as to face measurement) with unlimited stickings and panel design options.
All LAG DESIGN® doors are manufactured of clear kiln dried lumber and assembled with 3⁄8" x 6" lag bolts (exterior doors), 3⁄8" x 5" (interior doors), and 3⁄8" x 3" (bifolds and sidelights). Lag bolts will meet or exceed ANSI/ASME B18.2.1. Exterior Type I glues are used. All faces are machined sanded. Stiles may be laminated at manufacturer’s option.
Most hardwoods or soft woods can be specified for the construction of a LAG DESIGN® door.
Trimming and beveling for custom fitting is possible on all four edges of the standard door. Each door may be trimmed up to 3 1⁄2" from the bottom, 1⁄2" from each side and 1 1⁄4" from the top.
Panels may be edge glued. All panels shall be down sized and suspended with Pure Gum Tubing which meets or exceeds Federal Specs. ZZ-T-831 D and Military Specs. MIL-T-36966A. Down sizing is to allow for expansion and contraction of the panel.
Contact manufacturer for complete storage, handling, finishing, and installation instructions.
Weatherguard Panels for Exterior Hardwood Doors have a Lifetime Warranty. Weather Guard Panels are available on exterior doors for the buyer who desires a solid wood door without the problem of panel splitting. LAG DESIGN® guarantees that the Weather Guard Panels will not split through the panel for the life of the door.
All hardwood doors crafted by LAG DESIGN® are manufactured to exacting American millwork standards. Carefully selected quality hardwoods and attention to detail allow our interior doors to carry a 10-year limited warranty. See manufacturer for details and exclusions. |
